3.1 ความรู้เบื้องต้น

Phrasal Verb คือคำกริยาที่ประกอบกับคำบุพบทหรือคำวิเศษณ์แล้วมีความหมายใหม่ ส่วน Idiom คือสำนวนที่มีความหมายไม่ตรงตัว Collocation คือคำที่มักใช้คู่กันเป็นประจำ ทั้งสามอย่างนี้ใช้บ่อยมากในการสนทนาจริงและข้อสอบระดับกลาง-สูง คำศัพท์เพิ่มเติมของบทนี้หาได้ในหน้าคลังคำศัพท์ ลองค้นหาหรือเลือกหมวดที่เกี่ยวกับ Phrasal Verbs, Idioms หรือ Collocations ได้จากตัวกรองหมวดหมู่

3.4 Collocations ที่ใช้คู่กันบ่อย

Collocation คือคำที่คนพูดภาษาอังกฤษใช้คู่กันเป็นประจำจนฟังดูเป็นธรรมชาติ ถ้าสลับคำอื่นแทนแม้ความหมายใกล้เคียงกันก็อาจฟังดูแปลกในภาษาอังกฤษ
